Material Painting

Calcium chloride and hydrochromatic paint.

The durational painting made by calcium chloride and environmental conditions: Hydrochromatic paint becomes white when dry, and becomes transparent when wet, revealing the colour behind it. When calcium chloride crystallizes, the crystals create a drawing on the paint. Calcium chloride liquefies over time depending on the room conditions, predominantly humidity, and also it crystallise when the humidity is lower than around 30%.
